Whatever.

If they don't want people playing like this then they need to change the format of the tournament so this behavior isn't actually advantageous. It's not brave or courageous or good TV, but they are trying to win a GOLD MEDAL. Now whoever does win the top medals will know they aren't really the best, just the leftovers.

They need to start kicking pitchers off the mound for walking good hitters then.
 
IF the format doesn't require you to win to advance then why win? Why fight tooth and nail just to have to do it over again against a better team? Bet you one thing, this won't happen in the 2016 Olympics.

Does it suck for fans? Sure. But their not playing for Gold, the athletes are.
