New to the Vancouver, WA and I am looking for some place to fish with my kiddos from the bank. not even slightly looking for anyone's secret spot, just a place to get the kids started catching any fish. I grew up in Albany, OR and it seems a lot more different up here. Paying to park places is odd, and not exactly knowing where to go does not help either. haha.

Also, anyone enjoy mushrooming? I've taken the kids a few times in the skamania area, but have not had any luck.

East fork lewis river for all the above, round lake for panfish with the kiddos. Also, up the gorge you have Ice house and kidney lake.
