    Hello,

I'm sort of new to the area. Anyone have any good or bad things to share about the vancouver Gun and Knife show? Decent ammo available and prices? Many vendors show up? Best times to check it out to possibly beat huge crowds?

    thanks all!

Huge crowds? You are surely new to the area. Don't waste your time or money. Go to the Portland show. I'm surprise the vancouver show at the fair grounds is still around with the low turn out and vendor tables.

    Welcome to the PNW.

    Thanks for the warning!

Does anyone know if it is possible for a WA resident to purchase firearms from the Portland, OR show?

Yes but handguns have to be shipped to a WA ffl.

You might find a good deal. If you're just looking for one, or two things. Keep in mind that your going to pay about $20 before you walk in the door. You might save more money just calling around Portland/vancouver, or shopping online.

If you want to hit a gun show in Vancouver, you might try the ACSWW show the second Saturday of the month at the Square Dance Center about a mile north of Padden Parkway on 503/117th. Not a big show (50-60 tables??), but only $3 to get in and free parking. Pretty good variety of stuff and a lot of good people. Of course there is always our Cascade Sportsman's Club show in Carson if you are up for a drive. This coming Saturday, 20+ tables, $2 or two cans of food for the food bank for admission, doors open 8:30 to 3:00.
