Saw the aforementioned today at a local pawn shop. Always liked the 226 and figured I would own one someday. Gun appears to be from the 'ban' era as it has the original box, owners manual and the two original ten round mags and a 15 round. Gun is tight with little to no wear on the rails but does have a few 'beauty marks' and scratches. I'll call it 85-90 %. 'Ballpark' value opinions appreciated. They are 'asking' $499.00. Thanks.

$499 seems a fair price to me as well, and you may even be able to get them to come down a little as it has been me experience that most pawn shops have a little wiggle room in the prices

I'll show them three bills and start from there. I have bought several guns from them over the years and I always drive a hard bargain with them but come out ok. Just wanted to make sure the starting price was fair.
