His USMC grand is original from the United States Marine Corps facility through CMP. I have the papers from CMP and a hang tag from the arsenal through the military 4.2 million Garand's are notorious for being United States Marine Corps Rifles. This one has less than two on the muzzle and the throat. The date is listed as 12/52 on barrel and is original to receiver. Of course this rifle is straight from US Government and was NEVER cut. Bore is excellent. This is a special piece of USMC history. Boots are mint and dated 1953. Helmet is Korea period with original sewn chin strap.Cones with a m38a1 Korea War era jeep dash plate. This is truly the ultimate display. USMC glass emblem included and was owned by my Grandfather USMC WW2.
