You can't tell if a bullet has been fired through a suppressor

lol for sure! If your suppressor is scratching your bullets, you:
A. Probably aren't hitting your intended target
B. Will soon be looking for your suppressor (or pieces of it) downrange
And/or
C. Will soon be needing a new suppressor

OP is delusional. He is making the same argument as do not modify your gun you will be charged with murder if you use a modified gun in self defense.

There has nevery been a case. It is another old Fudd lore.

I plan to use 2 stamps to post mark anyone who breaks into my home.
Sadly a lot of this stuff originated with a rather well known author who as far as I know is still out there. He did a few books and said a couple IMHO, really stupid things. One of them was the idea using your own loads may make a DA come after you. This used to make the rounds at the local range and watering hole. When the net came along it gained new life. No one ever seems to be able to find a case where it happened but many swear they know its happened.
