USGI surplus. New, unissued. One of them was removed from the plastic bag by me and put back (as a result, it's not folded as neatly). Never worn outside. Made of ripstop nylon.
This is not just a poncho - it can also be used as a ground sheet, snap the two long edges together and use it as a blanket or sleeping bag cover, or snap two poncho's together with some poles to make a tent. Grommets in each corner allow you to use it as a shelter with cordage.
I have two. These USGI surplus ponchos are pretty difficult to find these days (vs. the Chinese produced, non-ripstop, low quality commercial versions).
