I have here a Saginaw receiver on an unmarked barrel which I am pretty sure is commercial. Trigger group bolt and stock are all original usgi. I installed a new (old stock) recoil spring. Comes with one original 15rd mag and one 30rd mag. for trades, I am intersted in Ruger pc40 or 9 (the old police carbine) plus some cash, other military surplus rifles, or lever guns 3030 45-70 357 .

Im 99% sure its a S'G' ill take another look when I get back. I have an after market stock cartridge holder I can throw in just got to find it. And the from the serial number range I will check when i get back but im pretty sure it was sometime in 1943-44. I will also put up some more pictures later.

Oh i misread read that cartouches for cartridges. Yeah it has a very faint canons crossed so Springfield.
