Important collector's rifle. This is a low numbered Springfield, manufactured in 1909 and originally issued to the USMC at MCRD San Diego. Still in the cosmoline, the stock and metal show wear, but the bore is bright and there is no pitting nor rust. The wood is original and shows no cracks, with the last four of the serial number stamped on the buttstock. FTF Oregon resident only. In the Portland area.
