Haskell Blows Whistle on Underwear Bomber FOX news... LINK

I had read the news stories at the time that many witness's who were on this flight were confused and angry that this jackasnape was apparently walked right past the screeners and allowed onto the plane by the authorities AND HE HAD NO PASSPORT! Please realize that these 2 in the Fox interview are not this guys lawyers, he's defending himself, they were just lawyers who were on the plane and eyewitness's to this strange event.

What the heck is going on?

Total BS, this has been shot down as BS long ago, fact, the guy did have a passport and a Visa as do all foreigners who legally enter this country.

On June 12, 2008, Abdulmutallab applied for and received from the U.S. consulate in London a U.S. multiple-entry visa, valid to June 12, 2010, with which he visited Houston, Texas, from August 1–17, 2008.<40><41> After graduating from university, Abdulmutallab made regular visits to Kaduna.<42>

Mr. Abdulmutallab was issued a regular visitor's visa by the United States Embassy in London in June 2008, the administration official said. There was no "derogatory information available" on him at the time he applied, and he was granted a two-year visa, which is still valid, the official said. He had traveled to the United States once before, to Houston in August 2008.

A quick google shows that "he studied from 2005 to 2008 at University College London and was president of the Islamic Society." Of course he would have a visa and a passport earlier as a student traveling to London. Yet these are eyewitness's who are there and this is what they personally witnessed Christmas day 2009. They say they watched it unfold. That although he might have been issued a passport that was valid, he didn't have it on him and he actually made it through with out one. Are you suggesting that they are not telling the truth on what they witnessed at the airport?

It is a certainty that that the kids father (and the British intelligence say that they had forwarded info on him form his time in London as well) had earlier reported him to the authorities. Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab - The New York Times
