Any Springfield that is marked Springfield Armory is started in Brazil.

SA gets all their forgings (save maybe operators) from Imbel Brazil. Large established weapons manufacturer. NM serialed guns are "made" in US by ATF standards and many believe to have a better fit/finish. Typically not so much worth more $$ as maybe more sought after.
