Show me the documentation that says the PASGT vest has a IIIA rating. I know the Interceptor Body Armor has IIIA NIJ inserts and the SPEAR BALCS soft armor could be had in IIA and IIIA ratings.

The isapo was made to add extra protection due to the pasgt not stopping 762s

The ISAPO was designed to add the ceramic plates from the RBA sets to the PASGT for improved protection up to Level III. (7.62x51) but the PASGT has always had this on the tag, "Fragmentation Vest, Personal Armor System Ground Troops". Its essentially the same protection as the flak jackets from Vietnam, just in kevlar.
