This may be a false alarm. Just spoke to A PLANNING COMMISSION staff guy who said the Vision Zero thing is not on the agenda.

I will likely still stick my head in the door.

If you can drop everything and attend the Bellevue Planning Commission meeting Wednesday night - March 13, 6:30 p.m. at Bellevue City Hall, be there.

There's an effort to move a program called "Vision Zero for Gun Safety," which has been kept relatively quiet until now. I got a tip from a reliable source, and did some homework. It's a gun control effort.

I'm planning to be there, reporter's notebook in hand.

Why stop at gun violence? Why not draft and implement a city ordinance that stops ALL VIOLENCE and death?. Doing otherwise is just shortsighted and a waste of lives, especially the children's. And then we can all agree it truly is, "Swellevue"
