One news reporter asked the police chief at the press conference about the shooting, why the officer fired at a suspect that had not actually shot at him.

.
She must have been dead stupid. At that range, once the kid had shot at him, he would be either on the concrete dead or have had the wind knocked out of him by the bullet.

In a way, I think that one can actually make a most logical argument that it was really the leniency of the courts that killed him, not the police.

For if they had only kept him in jail awaiting trial, this shooting would not have happened.
.

It's SELDOM cops championing this trash being allowed on the street. Cops, at least the one who work the streets have to keep cleaning up this mess. It's a large swath of voters who support this. Sadly many who are conservative champion this. Judges only do this because the voters allow and support it.

Baltimore - been run by democrats and unions since 1967...

Any questions???

That's why I so love the saying "Liberalism is a mental disorder." It fits so well. Every place that is a sewer like this has one constant. Run by liberals for decades. The people who scream about the mess elect more liberals to fix the mess they made. Just as with Socialism they keep doing the same thing over and over and really expect a different result.

Doing the same thing over and over and over again expecting different results is the definition of insanity...

Just sayin'

This video is a excellent example of showing just how long you may have to "read" a situation or a person and decide whether to shoot or not.

Folks may want to also watch this video for the times where someone cries "Why did he have to shoot?",Why couldn't he shoot him in the arm?" or "The guy didn't have a "real gun" / or a weapon" etc...
Again for the purpose of showing the seconds or less that someone has to decide a life or death choice.

From my experience in being in a firefight or several , you have a million and one choices all screaming to be made and they need to be made now.
All to made with your life depending on it.
I am not too sure that many folks who have to decide the fate of those involved in a shooting understand this.

Thank goodness for the body cam video since it clearly shows the perp raising his gun at the officer. Looks like a clean shoot to me, and thankfully one less bad guy on the street. It pizzes me off that so many people question the police when you see crap like this and knowing they are running toward danger, trying to put an end to it.

I really don't get the mindset that constantly allows pieces o' sh!t like this to be put back on the street only to reoffend again and again. They say it's compassionate. Bullish!t. They say there isn't enough money to keep them locked up. Bullish!t again. How about considering all the costs involved with the police constantly having to chase down and arrest these repeat offenders? Maybe we could reduce the number of officers and direct more money to prisons if we weren't constantly putting baddies back on the street.

Shaking my head at the moronic stupidity of so many of my fellow Americans. I do hope the results of the recent elections show that maybe, just maybe, this country is beginning to pull its collective head out of its azz.

This is why I have been super pro these cams for years. They will weed out the few bad ones and protect the rest. You know full well if he did not have that on tape the shake down reverends would be there trying to start a riot.

Respectfully, I don't ascribe to this line of "logic". Let's blame his mama and sperm donor for his conception, or better yet let's blame pro-life conservatives because if he'd been aborted & never been born this shooting would have never happened.

That mother bubblegummer bears the full burden of his own death, and nobody else.

If you want to stop the reproduction, stop paying the baby factories for producing more...

Perhaps Trump will reign in the welfare system...

For anyone who doesn't quite grasp the magnitude of naïve libtard stupidity, this sums it up for me...

There are all too many voters and professional politicians who honestly believe that the cop had no right to fire until the perp had already shot at him.

As long as people like that are sucking oxygen, I'm alarmed at the dangerous direction society is taking.

A well-deserved dirt nap for the bad guy IMHO.

Gun control IN Baltimore is working lol oh yeah he had a stolen gun only if he had went to the gun store tried to buy it then he wouldn't have had a gun poor boy I'm sure sense all the judges gave him a break that he was on his way to turning his life around mmmmm I guess we will never know.......... sarcasm with a smile

Another young man cut down in his prime. He, no doubt was ready to turn his life around.

Couldn't the Police Officer have just shot him in the leg...did he need to gun the y00t down like that :rolleyes:

I didn't see the guy aim at the cop, but I can clearly see the gun dropping from his hand so it was there. Clean shot. Just surrender plead and be back out on the streets. No one really cares in Baltimore if you simply don't shoot people or aim guns at them.

He did right here and that's when he got shot.
