No... the Mexican government wants us to have a tougher time repelling the cartels' (yes, that's plural) operations across our borders and into our private properties so the Mexican social elites can continue to get their cartel hush-money which enables the cartels in the first place.

This guy wanted more guns in the hands of the Cartels.

I am sure there are many reasons why somebody would want firearms, accessories, ammo, etc banned or restricted. I was thinking about how much money I have spent on the hobby, it is a lot. I wonder if financial reasons are a motivator for people supporting gun related bans and restrictions. If it is harder to buy gun related stuff, maybe that money will be spent elsewhere in the economy? Do you think this is on gun grabbers minds when they contemplate gun bans/restrictions?
The liberal mentality is a bleeding heart type. They, as in the voters, will ban anything they deemed extreme or intolerant and do so because of the woke I care crap. They don't care about others just as Republicans BS around the same issue and copitulate when the banker comes. The problem is communism. The US is a constitutional republic which grants us all the pathway to defend from such and what they say is democracy is actually a farce. There is no motive to get your money, they want you disarmed for a reason.

Magnificent oratory.

There is only one reason in life to disarm someone, thats to control them. This is a law of nature and a lesson in history thats played out many times.

While understanding others is a key part of effective communication....
I can not say why someone is anti gun....since I am not.

I can say that in general , I do not trust those elected officials who are anti gun to tell me the truth when it comes to why they are anti gun.
At best this anti gun stance comes from ignorance about firearms...how firearms work...as well as ignorance about firearm owners.
At worst it stems from a desire to control...As a student of history...as well as from my personal experiences....
I have seen what happens to people once they are disarmed.

Granted this distrust of mine ...will also hamper communication.
However...I ain't seen much to change it or make go away in regards to my so called representatives.

Maybe some prohibitions/restrictions occur because some bend to the will of other stakeholders.
They are blind to the will of other "stakeholders" (their government). People who choose to be disarmed are dependant on their " stakeholders" for their personal security, its in their best interest everyone else around them is disarmed too.
