Freedom of speech, though under assault here, is not as threatened as in our closest democratic allies. People just don't get what we have here.
Our 1st & 2nd are certainly under attack, Leftists don't expect an easy win, never have but keep pushing their agenda they will.

It's far more serious in Britain than a YouTube channel. We're witnessing the beginnings of a possible rebellion by the common people against the ruling class with all of its traitors and quislings.

If you're not familiar Tommy Robinson, his story of his jailing, please do spend some time reading. Here is a teaser...

Read a story yesterday about one of the little Princes playing with a toy gun... the citizenry was outraged. Just outraged!!:rolleyes::rolleyes:

I expect that the next step will be tracking down and charging "hate-thought" followed by fines or prison terms for anyone that ever commented and/or logged-on to that YouTube channel. (at the very least stripping them of their right to own dull, round pointed, kitchen knives)

Do they still allow the free speech tradition in Hyde Park's Speaker's Corner? Or has that become subject to fines/arrest now too?

^^A Canadian guy was arrested at his home and prosecuted for speaking harshly to some snowflake lady on social media.

I disagree with the possibility of a British rebellion................... they'll just bend over and take it as they always have, pretty much the way gun owners have in certain states.....

You may be right, but if the people don't demand significant change in leadership and national direction the U.K. is lost as a unique nation.

I think the people are realizing how much their political class has sold out, the rumblings have begun. They are seeing how Western Europe is committing suicide through unrestrained immigration and socialism; Brexit was just the first indication.

Back a Tommy into a corner and he'll come out swinging. Queen and St. George!

Just my thoughts anyway.

Now, one more idea...

Here is the opportunity for William and Harry to make their place in history; if they come out against this growing repression and say no, stand with the people against the traitor class, they will have a willing movement.

All it would take is a simple pro-liberty, Britain first message (a la Trump). It's a personal risk of course, but it would solidify the monarchy and their individual fortunes; channel Locke and Mill, become the next warrior kings (think Henry V). The tradition and environment are there if they have the courage...

What do you think?

I am absolutely appalled - and I'm now writing my Member of Parliament.

Poor b*gger sounds as though he has been brainwashed into it. A more level-headed commentator on the lunacy of some of yUK's draconian firearms laws could not be imagined. Over the last four years, via the media of Youtube AND yUK TV, he seems to have spent a lot of time and money trying to convince the rest of the world that is really isn't too bad here in UK. On the contrary - all this has proved is that it's not just as bad as people imagine - it's much worse.

Britain has a long history of this type activity, when I lived in Germany, I was very close to Luxembourg. There were huge transmitters and studios there transmitting TV and radio as pirates into England because all there was in England was the BBC. They were successful and financed by advertising subscriptions like here in the US. Some of the employees sent there kids to our military English speaking schools in Bitburg.

Here's my post on one of the main forums in yUK -

Callum Long-Collins, Youtuber and blogger on the whys and wherefores of legal shooting of firearms in the UK, has decided to call it a day.

https://pjmedia.com/trending/uk-poli...-of-extremism/

Quote - On Sunday, YouTuber Calum Long-Collins announced he would be effectively shutting down the channel EnglishShooting, a YouTube channel that racked up more than 15,000 subscribers and more than 12 million views in the past four years. Long-Collins said the police had marked his YouTube channel as a "forum of extremism," and that he had to "show the police that I am a fit character to own firearms within the U.K."

"I was told that due to repeated comments from other people on the videos [police] felt that the channel was a forum of extremism and it was promoting views that were not in line with legal firearms ownership within the U.K.," Long-Collins said in a YouTube video announcing "The End of EnglishShooting."

The trouble began two years ago, when his licenses were revoked following a false accusation. His licenses were restored, but police found previous videos on his channel that they considered suspect.

To tell the truth, the poor b*gger sounds as though he has been brainwashed into it.

The high-handed approach by his local police force - literally policing his Youtube posts - has resulted in him having the 'rethink his attitudes and beliefs...regarding the ownership of firearms...I'm having to prove that I am a fit person to have firearms...'

WTF?

It is a common sight here in yUK to see a couple or three hundred police trucked in from far and wide to a football match, roads closed, mounted police officers and helicopters deployed, special constables called in from their allotments and extensive TV coverage in order to keep two crowds of football fans from mass mayhem and civil disobedience. Meanwhile, a couple of weeks back in the rolling hills of Surrey, namely, Bisley, well over a thousand people were shooting 'real live bullet guns, mister', with nary a police officer in sight.

We have seriously thought about buying a house in Europe to live part time in but can't find a really compatible country. We considered Northern Ireland, Scotland, southern England, Germany, Austria, Holland, and Hungary but it seems best to live here and only traveling there when we want. When I lived there (Germany) I was more than ready to come home after 4 years.

What I find infuriating is that British citizens have to prove their "good character" to the police to own firearms, instead of the police having to prove they're NOT of "good character"!

How much longer will ye endure such humiliation as a people?
