The upcoming election in Washington (that's on the other side of the river from Oregon :s0114:) has clear choices for gun owners. Now there's word that some group affiliated with the UN is going to monitor elections in several states. Texas and Iowa have already made it clear those goobers just might be arrested.

In Washington, we ought to ask for the Texas Rangers instead. They'd be more certain that no votes would be cast by convicted felons, illegal aliens or dead people from King County. And, yes, the tongue is just slightly in cheek...

Beware of UN election monitors; send Texas Rangers instead

There's a big flap over anticipated election shenanigans as stories circulate about a United Nations affiliate that plans to send monitors across the country to "monitor polling and political activities."

I think if they show up they should be required to have red targets on the blue helmets although I understand the blue stands out pretty well in the forests around here.

9. All political discussion must be directly related to firearms, gun rights, or the second amendment.

There are many different people here with many different viewpoints on various issues. Like religion, discussing these issues here is highly likely to offend and very little good can come of it. We need to be focusing on the things that bring us together (firearms), not the things that have the potential to divide us (politics).
