the jogger has alot of balls reaching for his firearm while he had a gun pointed at him.... did he think that the bad guy's gun was a fake?

Always hard to be sure with anything the media reports these days. If it really happened as written sounds like the guy should have kept his mouth shut. I always warn people if you have to shoot someone you say lawyer when they start asking questions. Sounds like the guy was damn lucky. Can only hope the crotch shot makes the dobad unable to create copies of himself.
