Night of drinking leads to two men shooting each other while wearing bulletproof vests, deputies say
Ferris and Hicks are buddies and get drunk. They have a bullet proof vest and a .22. Ferris asks Hicks to shoot him while Ferris is wearing the vest. Hicks complies firing one shot. Ferris finds out it hurts, gets mad about it (why?? you asked for it, literally), so when Hicks puts on the vest for his turn, he unloads the magazine into the vest.
Ferris is later feeling whiney about his bruise and goes to the hospital where he first tries to recount some Soldier of Fortune tale regarding how he got shot. His wife spills the beans and now both Ferris and Hicks have pending felony charges.
Not a good image for gun owners, but I can't help but laugh.
