No, 7.62x39 is the most common caliber in AKs and SKSs.

The .308 is very similar to 7.62x51 (mostly cross-compatible, but that's a whole other subject).

Wow, thanks everybody for the great response. I have one guy who said he would take both lots that I advertised and that really simplifies it for me so I am giving him first shot at this. Sorry I didnt have more. But an alternative right now is J&G Sales in arizona, with shipping, 7.62 is about 500, expensive but available. I thought about asking a higher price, but I dont like gouging people. Gary.
