In summary, you can own, possess and use any of your existing mags, but you will not be allowed to buy, sell, manufacture, import, export, or otherwise obtain mags with greater than 10rd capacity in WA state after July 1st 2022.

This whole situation rides on Duncan . If the US Supreme Court rules that California's ten round mag limit violates the Constitution then WA's mag ban falls. If the US Supreme Court hears Duncan and decides that the confiscation provision violates the Takings Clause then WA's mag ban does not fall, but would create complications for WA to ban possession; which is doubtlessly their goal for the next few years.

If the US Supreme Court does not agree to hear Duncan then the current 9th Circuit blessing on mag bans will give WA a green light to soon make criminals of those in possession of mags by adding to SB5078.
That's a very large "IF"...........

Increased access to Mental health support.. no.....
Better nutritional education... again no.....

Forcing a mentally ill shooter to spend an extra 7/10th of a second to reload while he shoots people that are too fat to run away.. YES!!!

Do you feel safe yet?
I understand what you are saying but go back even farther. The shooter is there to hurt and kill people. Does anybody honestly think the shooter gives a rat's about any mag ban?
