Whether or not someone takes what President Trump stated as permission to shoot down drones....
Someone will eventually do so.

Please understand that I think that words , statements and context matter...
And that elected officials need to be clear with what they say.

However....
Anyone who thinks that these drones ain't going to be shot at / shot down by someone who has had enough....
Is fooling themselves.

And with that said...
I ain't saying to shoot willy-nilly into the sky...just saying why the surprise when it happens...?

Never mind the NJ thing for a moment. This whole drone thing is just another electronic technology nightmare. That once released, is impossible to stop. Ten years ago, we would've thought that drones flying around everywhere was a thing of science fiction. Yet today it's a reality. From massed drone combat in Ukraine to insurance companies in the States evaluating properties. News crews use them all the time. Film crews use them all the time. I've read that the hum of drones in Israel never goes away. I'm going to make a guess that the skies in China are full of them.

Another scary electronic development is AI. Hugely intrusive. The big information octopi (Google, Microsoft, Meta, etc) are harvesting all the information of all kinds that the can. They were already scraping and harvesting data from servers everywhere. Then along came "The Cloud." Of course they want data "stored" in "The Cloud," because then it's theirs. They take all this data and now AI can comb through it and "know" everything about everyone. The AI generated products that we see are also scary. Like scripted or visual creations. It's all fake.

I had my son get OneDrive disconnected in my PC. It was difficult enough that I couldn't figure out how to do it myself. Microsoft wants to snare as many people into this as they can.

The fact is that the statement can and will be misinterpreted. And I fully support your right to say that anything but absolute 100% agreement with everything that Trump says rabid TDS.
No, this trend falls in line with anything and everything conservatives say. It's a game the regressive left has been engaging in for far too long and it needs to be called out for what it is.

The context of that message from him was fairly clear.. how on earth is that me or anyone else fully agreeing with every word Trump says?
The only people hung up on what he says are clearly people far too obsessed with him.. often people leaning heavily left.. folks with a type of derangement, hyper focused on him or anyone else the mainstream media demands they obsess about until the next political flavor of the month comes along.

Re. actually firing at drones by civilians to bring them down. As tempting as this might be, I foresee that it could result in a lot of "collateral damage." And potential lawsuits and even injury/death. Power lines severed, roofs holed, etc. Probably more property damage than drones brought down.

Here is a photograph of a 1000meter tall cliff on a comet 996,480,038 kilometers away in space.
But we cant identify 1000s of drones flying over towns in eyesight.

Propaganda. Its been so effective even conservative/republicans have campaigned for democrats. I have a few conservative friends that have questioned who they wanted to vote for simply because of the rude things they think Trump has said. Ive been one myself so its extra clear to me, every time I look up what he said (transcripts are available) its virtually always taken out of context. I remember when I thought he was racist for saying white supremacists were "very fine people", until I later read the transcript. It needs to be called out, people need to show what they claim he says.
