Foreword: Factory Saiga 12's are infamous for either cycling all types of shells out of the box, or having issues with FTE's due to low gas pressure. This is due to the 4 gas ports not being all drilled, drilled but undersized, and or gas ports being packed with metal shavings from the factory. This particular shotgun was hand picked and worked on by renowned gunsmith Tony Rumore of Tromix. On top of all the expert welding, fitting and custom work; he made sure each custom Saiga had its gas ports drilled to proper diameter. This in turn guarantees absolute reliability when firing different size loads and weights of 12 gauge shot shells. The machined MD Arms adjustable gas regulator allows one to adjust gas pressure to give the right amount of gas without over or under gassing the system.
Manufactured in Izhevsk, Russia, at the famous Izhmash plant ( arrow in triangle roll mark ) then selected and customized by Tony Rumore of Tromix. These are extremely hard to come by due to the import ban years ago, and the current conflict in the Ukraine. The following custom work was done to transform the base sporting Saiga 12 to this Tromix Model S02:
• SAW pistol grip
• Re-machined receiver end to correct angle
• TIG-welded backplate
• Welded selector safety stop
• Welded Tromix trigger guard
• Welded-up discarded axis pin holes
• U.S. manufactured fire control parts
• Gas block realigned (as necessary)
• New, Tromix folding stock w/Limbsaver recoil pad
• Magazine well modified for higher capacity magazines
• Extractor tuned with proper barrel relief
• Sand-blasted with aluminum oxide media
• Refinished with black, bake-on Norrell's Moly Resin
• Galil charging handle
• XS HK Style Ghost Ring Night Sights
• SRTrigger
• Dinzag Customs AK-74M Style Muzzle Brake
• MD Arms Adjustable Gas V-Plug
• Tri-Rail aluminum hand guard
I added the following accessories:

Vickers Tactical Padded Sling
Bobro Vertical Foregrip
Four 10rd. AGP Arms, three 5rd. and one 8rd. factory Russian made magazines. The two MD Arms 20 rd. drums will be modified to satisfy state mandate before transfer.
