Trap/Skeet Shotgun for beginner?

So if I show up at the local trap & skeet club with my fishing vest & my Stoeger M2000 S/A duck gun, will the laugh at my first session in 45 years (73/100 score average)?

I've actually made several attempts to buy a 12ga 1100 on this forum but have not yet been successful.

Don't buy, borrow/rent first unless you know exactly what you want.
Go to Vancouver Trap Club and try one out.

A little birdie told me that there may be an 1100 trap model for sale up there.
