The latest statement from the Pima County sheriff:

However, it is unacceptable and irresponsible to couch those questions with implications of secrecy and a cover-up, not to mention questioning the legality of actions that could not have been taken without the approval of an impartial judge.

Complete BS. Citizens and media have EVERY right to question the legality, motives, and competency of the LEOs involved, from the head man on down. The 1st Amendment is still in force last time I looked.

Nearly a month after the incident and Pima County has yet to provide one shred of evidence this guy was guilty of any crime. Complete travesty.

They won't offer up anything until they complete the investigation and publish the reports. It could be more than a year before we know anything else.

That's BS as well. It's time for the FBI to investigate this event on the basis of possible violation of civil rights. If that happens we'll get an unbiased report in about 90 days.

Call it the Waco method. Delay the official report and use the intermediate time to let the outrage simmer down and slander the victims (in the Waco case, David Koresh was accused of being a pedophile without any proof), so that when the report does come out, people either don't care or end up supporting the government actions.

They didnt have any issue with time, when it came to sealing the search warrants after the fact.

Well, they may still have warrents extending from the case so its possible that is why they arnt talking because they arnt done going after others involved.
Or
They could be buying time to fabricate evidence or the DOJ is climbing up their back sides and they are staying mumm.
Lots of ways this thing could be going. Just hard to tell.

If other warrants are extending from the case then why was this warrant not sealed until after this craptastic "breech" took place? In fact which happened first? Did the search warrant get sealed prior to the officers claiming they were returning fire or after they changed their story and admitted his weapon never came off safe?
