Good idea on the weighted pack to wear them down, I might use that one. We have a young black lab that will chase a ball until she can't walk anymore, and it takes a while for her to wear out. I have a pack that she wears when we go camping that usually carries some toys, baggies for poop, collapsible water dish, and a couple of other assorted items. Maybe I could fill it full of rocks before we go out for our nightly fetch adventure!

Nice dog, I have a similar pack for my dog when I go hiking. Its loaded with the same food, water & first aid all for him.
