It has been recently gone through by a gun Smith and fires perfectly and accurate. Come with a ton of stripper clips and 100 rounds and some are tracers. Another piece of Great American history. Cash price 1650.00 obo

Its complete and its a 1941 serial number as shown in pic. And its under the 119 mark its the history piece. Fires like a singer sower... had to say it. Its the winchester bad boy all original. It'saamazing the response I have had on this gun. I have had some dime piece guns on here and thing is turning way more heads.

Have any photos of cartouche on the rifle? When you say "Its the winchester bad boy all original" Not trying to sound like a jerk, just curious how you verified that this rifle is indeed all original? At the price point you are asking it makes a big difference I think.

I think it is original USGI, but not original as 100% as new to the gun when produced. The wind age knob is not a type 1 lockbar and is post WW2, but it sounds like a nice Winchester which is desirable amongst those of us with Garanditist.

When I say original I mean all the receiver and action are 100% original. The only piece on the gun that is suspect is the fore grip the rest of the stock is official

I've done a lot of research on this gun since there was so many questions on it. Took it to an expert due to the fact that the stock does not have cartouche but with the serial numbers and dating to 1943 he feels that the gun was USGI issued to army reservist. I feel that this does affect the value of the gun greatly and Would reset the price tohis recommendation off around 750 to 800 still open to trade offers
