Too late for Hunter Education by this fall?

My co-worker wants to come out this year with me. I told him to do the online course and then find a field day. We both looked and all clases within 75 miles of us are booked or booked with waitlist. Is he not going to be able to make this season? any help is appreciated. we live in north tacoma area.

I believe he can pay a one time fee and get a license one time and go with someone who has had hunters safety. Look on the WA site. It should be there.

He can get a single year exemption, but next year, if he wants to hunt, he'll have to do one of the courses. There are lots of them to be had, I'm instructing one in Colville next week and again in August. You just may have to travel......

ahhh excellent, I forgot about the one time exemption. thanks guys! colville is a bit of a trip for us...hear good things about turkey there though.
