Most departments in Oregon destroy guns they take in. Some cut the frames and some take the entire gun to the steel mill in Mcminville, scope, sling and all and melt it down. Lots of reasons they do this but they could actually buy a lot of new equipment if they sold the guns to dealers. When its' our money they really don' try to save any.

That most ASSUREDLY would have stopped all gun violence.:rolleyes::confused::confused:

kinda like the taxes attached to purchase of firearms and ammo in king county to assist mental health agencies in the county.

kinda like Initiative 594 provision: "The measure also required that dealers who are facilitating gun transfers ...receive confirmation in writing from the chief of police or sheriff that the purchaser in question "is eligible to possess a pistol...and that the application to purchase is approved by the chief of police or sheriff."

Those insightful activities have contributed the tarnishment of evergreen state's firearm reputation and not done a bloody thing to stop the violence
