The thing that really gets me is the ground you can see the path of the guards in the STONE.
Every day they walk and gaurd the tomb.

Tomb guards are part of the 3rd U.S. Infantry Regiment, the "Old Guard," an Army unit, in which my nephew proudly served. I sincerely doubt that who sits in the Oval office has any effect on the number of Army personnel who volunteer to be part of the Old Guard.

I disagree with most of Obama's policies, but I can't with integrity blame him for events he had nothing to do with. The Army has guarded the Tomb for generations; as far as I know it has never been an unpopular assignment and has always been Army.

The Tomb of the Unknow Soldier is guarded by volunteers from Company E, 3rd US Infantry.
