Today's Gun Rally

We had a great time there! Lars was awesome! He took a min to chat and pose for a pic with me. I thought that everyone there conducted themselves as expected. I hope the news doesnt screw up the way that they broadcast any part of it. They have a weird way of twisting things around.

I googled "gun appreciation day" and what I found was mostly positive. Almost every news snip, from around our country's cities, was explaining that 1000's of people showing up at gun shows and other events. Makes me wonder what the total number count was for all events.

It was good. There was a bit much political BS for me. I was hoping we could stick to gun rights and not make it a democrat or republican issue, but there were a couple if speakers who went there. Other than that it was awesome. Great to see all the guys show up on their motorcycles too.

Yeah, it did turn into a bit of a "anti-choice, conservative, gun lover's Jesus jamboree." That was very disappointing but I just decided to focus on the parts I enjoyed and the people.

I'm very anti baby murder (there's no "choice", it's murder) but these are 2nd amendment rallies and we should try to stay on topic while attending them

This is a political battle. The anti religion zealots and abortionists are the same people that want your guns, and my friends they ain't conservative or Republicans. The 2A battle is only one part of the socialist/marxist agenda and people that want to keep pretending that it isn't have a come to Jesus moment in their future if we can't win.

I wonder, could there be a connection between the people that want the political and the gun topics as seperate. Cause gee would the voting in of the politicans that are anti gun be who they voted for Hmmmmmmmmm any bets on that Na what have they done to take away our guns??? The first step to winning in knowing your enemy because and many people don't want to face it and like to live in denial this is war between good and evil anyway you slice it. But hey thats just my opinion.

I was surprised as well to how many people showed up and stood in the cold as long as they did. I to wish they could have kept it more on guns than religion and other political BS. But some of the speakers were well spoken and kept on topic.

Went to the rally in oly and it was uplifting to see how many people took the time. The National Anthem was awsome. All the hats came off and I could tell we meant it. This was the first time joining somthing like this and not the last.

I was there in Olympia with my wife and kids, plus our 3 dogs. Met up with several guys I'm stationed with at Lewis-McChord. Great turnout!! Best part was there wasn't a speck of trash left behind, good job guys. The WSP that was there were talking and joking/laughing with us.
