Within an hour of my monthly Patreon payments being made off my credit card, my account was scammed to the tune of almost $7000 by a person trying to book accommodations for a top-class hotel in Madrid, in order to stay over the weekend and watch the European bootfoot game. 
Needless to say, since this was so far out of the ordinary, and no security number was quoted, the card company declined the payment, but the damage had been done.
That being too much of a coincidence for me, I have ceased to do business with either organisation.
