To Crimp or not!

I have crimp dies for most of the calipers I load for.
If I have the crimp die it gets crimped regardless.

Roll crimp if it has a cannlure groove.

Taper crimp for bullets with no cannlure groove.

Better safe the sorry in my opinion.
