I have a Remington 700 stainless that I bought for my son to hunt with and then he decided he needed bigger so he went to 30-06.

I put a good quality Nikon 3x9 scope on it with stainless steel rings. Black synthetic stock with nice contours and grips.

Has maybe 15 to 25 shots through it,
just sits in my gun case growing dust! I think they are pretty close on values if interested let me know. I can send you the pictures and it's as close to new as you could possibly get!

Didn't know if you made up your mind on new caliber but a 243 is very mild recoil and very good ballistics out to at least 400 yards with plenty of power for deer.
