Threads should be shorter

I would like to suggest that threads that get too long should be broken up into smaller threads such as yayhoo1, Yayhoo2, yayhoo3 etc. The thread "What did you do today to prepare" and the "goofy humor" thread are too long to be easily read. If they were broken up, you would be able to go right to the last place where you left off and read from there. So, how about the thread breaking into a new number every 100 posts or so. I haven't read all of the two posts mentioned just because I have to continually go over old ground.
