What this looks like is a carryover attitude from the obummer administration that doesn't hold Americans in any higher esteem than an Afgan goat herder. Simply put being American means nothing to this regime as they are more globalist in their view of citizens.

You are assuming that all those left behind were persons of Afghan heritage with American passports. What about the civilian contractors working for the USG, employees of NGOs, and other Americans working there who found themselves stranded when they military pulled out in the middle of the night?
