Thoughts on a magnetic iwb holster?

The thing about magnets is they attract all the metal shavings and slivers, this is a big no thanks from me.

I personally wouldn't give that one a try. As said above, magnets grab too much random junk. I would think they could even end up magnetizing the gun itself. Kydex has always served me well.

I bought a magnetic tape measure once, the lesson was very quickly learned.

My magazine pouch on my carrier is magnetic. I've found some neat stuff on it after having to go to the ground for whatever reason.

On another occasion I was carrying in what I would call a slightly less than permissive environment, when something caught the corner of my eye. A magnet had attached itself to the spare mag in pocket.

I'd image it has an effect on the draw. Rare earth magnets aren't known for letting go easily.

Ever put a magnet in a cup or plastic bag as a kid and go walk around in the dirt with it?

This holster is like the adult version of that.

My holster and carry gun manage to get enough lint and crap on them as is, without a magnet!

I'm a no go along with the others.
I had an oddball scope cover with magnets that kept the lids closed, I flicked the front open one day and stuck a fine rusty wire in my thumb. No idea where that came from?? At least it didn't scratch my lens.

Yea it works but u need to use left hand holster for right side and right hand for left side...
