Nice looking Thompson Center...nickle is a neat touch , to give ya a different look.
I re-stocked a CVA like yours awhile back in maple...these are good shooting rifles that won't break the bank.

I was told by the original owner that .. EARLY ON .. you could order a nickle plated barrel from Thompson (he thought he purchased it in 1968 ?? Thanks guys.

K in the serial number makes it a kit gun...Not that , that is a bad thing.
And yes Thompson Center did offer Nickel as a special option for a brief time.
