I went to TP4M to fill out Form 4473 for my Armscor shotty and Dagger (g19 clone) frame and while I was waiting to get my license back I saw this Taurus PT92AF in the case for $250. I did a quick internet search on the pistol and discovered these were made with the same Brazillian factory equipment as the Beretta models. It looked clean enough and felt tight so I plunked down a deposit and come November 1st, it will be free for them to sell (Stupid Tigard law requires they hold used private intakes for 30 days)

I have been going to this pawn shop for years to do transfers but this was the first time I have bought a firearm from them.

BTW I was 4090 in line.

4,090 in line 😬, earlier this year when I got my AK my background check took a little over 4 weeks, I've never had one take so long, not sure what number back in the que I was, but prior to that one id only ever had 1 background check that wasn't cleared while I was still in the store and that one was the next day.

The FFL guessed it might be 18 days at the rate they are processing them.

Nice score! Reminds me that it's been over two months since I bought a new gun, maybe I'll change that this weekend, LOL.
I was very surprised to see it for $249, they are usually priced a little high on most of their firearms. I don't know much about Berettas or the Taurus PT92 pistols but the price stuck out as being low since it was sitting right next to a beat up Hipoint 40 for $150. The next cheapest 9mm pistol they had was a S&W Sigma pistol for $299. I looked up some info on the PT92 and saw that they were made on the same machinery as the Beretta and by many of the same workers so I opened the wallet. I can't fill out the form 4473 until Nov. 1st because of the Tigard law.
