People have been shooting insulators and transformers as long as I remember. I think it is bad, bad, bad, bad they should get the maximum penalty. The government and its employees are the terrorists to fear. They can take your life, but worst is they take your rights and freedoms away.

I saw this thread and couldn't help but think about this story I read the other day: <broken link removed> . This is a legitimate national security concern. Any significant level of organized attack could blow the entire power grid for over a year.

Talk about mass chaos. This would be a takedown of epic proportions if one of our enemies could pull this off. Not everything would break down right away, but that long before things are back to "normal" and "normal" would not even be the same thing anymore.
