I was holding up fairly well, until a young couple and their two kids walked into the vets waiting room with an adorable little cocker spaniel puppy.
The youngest child walked up to me and my 16 yr old Doberman and proudly told me that they were there for her puppies first shots.
And then she asked me what we were waiting for. I told her we were there for my dogs last shots.

I will highly recommend the Companion Pet Clinic in the way they treated my dog and myself.
They had a warm blanket on the floor and they also dimmed the lights. Completely painless for her, but not for me.
