Outdoor gun show behind Stan's Gun Room, Santa Ana, Calif., 1972. Stan opened up the parking lot behind his store once a month, I think it was a Saturday. No charge. No forms, no BGC, no waiting period, strictly cash and carry. Oh, silver coins were accepted in barter even then.
