When I was a kid. My Uncle had a .357 revolver. I have no idea what brand. Anyway, he used to brag about the trigger job he had done. Back then they called it "a hair trigger". Back then they did not measure trigger pull. This is like in the 70's. So he is out behind his house in eastern Washington playing "Quick draw MaGraw" and shoots himself on the top of his right foot. OUCH!

I'm assuming this was some kind of humor of course. As I have mentioned before though if the choice was no gun, or baseball bat or High Point, I would take the High Point. If someone can't afford something else at the time it beats no gun. The ones I have shot of course were butt ugly and had horrible triggers but, they hit what I shot at.

HiPoints... they're boxy but they're good. Lol. If you are on a tight budget well, there you go. When I picked up their 45acp pistol I felt like I was holding a large potato. I'm not saying that I didn't like it and one day I will add one to the collection but I was looking for something IWB at the time. I do like their 45acp carbine. The turn off is the ten round mag. I compare it to the old Thompson i used to have. I had modified a bunch of 30 round M3A1 (grease gun) mags to fit it so I was a bit spoiled in that regard.
They do offer an outstanding warranty though. While others like to pick them apart, many swear by their HiPoints.
