WOW as a past School bus driver and currently a Dump truck driver. I can tell you those last 4" between 11'8" and those 12' tall trucks is a bubblegum LOL.

We pave roads and are constantly dealing with over head wires and trees. Always mindful.

I noticed a couple of those hits managed to move the bridge pretty good.
 
I noticed at Budget rentals they had pictures of people doing this with their trucks and that specifically these types of accidents are NOT covered by the optional insurance.
 
That sucker is low. HAHAHA. I really don't think drivers can prepare for that with just the flashing sign ON THE BRIDGE, comeon!

I believe the standard is 14' on interstates.

Different states have warnings, like Oregon - even these are over 12' - that killer bridge is 11' 8"! Damn.
