What some apparently overlook whilst patting each other on the back about every new state going to "Constitutional Carry" or with the recent SCOTUS decision that's gonna render every state "shall issue" is that:

The liberals in charge of every metropolitan will simply make EVERYWHERE off limits for even legal carry of firearms, thus rendering our "advances" moot.

They grow in confidence with every NYC, SF, Boulder, and now, Orlando, that comes forth with laws prohibiting ANY carry of weapons, legal or otherwise.

Lawful concealed carry means nothing if there's nowhere anyone is actually allowed to carry.

Totally not understanding how so many on the internet firearms and RKBA forums continue to be so sanguine about our prospects for the RKBA.

The other side has figured it out: (1) They don't give a crap about any SCOTUS decisions, (2) they'll simply tax ammunition or render it unavailable everywhere, (3) they'll ban certain types of firearms and standard capacity magazines and finally, (4) they'll simply ban legal carry everywhere.

Sure, we'll still have our CPL, CHLs, CCWs, licenses, permits or whatever and our revolvers and limited capacity semiautos -- we just won't have ammo or anywhere we can legally pack.

Nobody with half a brain and who has been following the left's gun control agenda for more than a minute, expected that they would simply roll over with the recent Bruen decision. It was, however, an absolutely fantastic and legally/constitutionally appropriate decision...but the battle is just beginning.

Both New York and California are in the process of updating their laws to essentially designate their entire states as a "sensitive place" where carry is prohibited. What a shock. In California, for example, a business/building must post a sign that specifically grants permission for people to carry in/on the premises. This makes the defacto status for ALL buildings, illegal to carry. I'm pretty sure New York is doing the same. This is, of course, in spite of the fact that Bruen expressly warned against this kind of thing.

And so the battle goes. Accordingly, the pro gun groups are gearing up to sue as soon as the laws are passed. The legal challenges will take a little time but they will be won. Many other laws will also be challenged as a result of Bruen..."high capacity magazine" bans, "assault weapon" bans, California gun roster, etc.

Bruen was a fantastic decision. I would love it if the petty tyrants would follow the law and recent decision but this is what tyrants do. Real freedom isn't free. It has to be fought for.

I'm pretty sure it will "add fuel to their jet's" and sway the pendulum towards our side gradually. It will take some time but people WILL start to wake up more and more and smell the pervasive bull soft serve and I think these groups no matter how much money they spend will start to dwindle in numbers, rep's. and spending and eventually they may win some battles but we will win the war at least in the relative short term. 10-20 more years down the road who knows?
