The "sale" that really isn't

Is it just me or are there some online stores for gun stuff that mark things as on sale on holiday weekends but they really aren't?? It's the same prices as you get any other day?

Really? Even Cabelas had them in stock for $12.99 the other day. I'm glad I got a bunch already.

It took me a minute of time to convert the 12.7 X 99 mm to 50 BMG I am so slow.

I've found this to be the case with most online retailers, and not just the ones that sell firearms related items. I always take online "sales" with a grain of salt, because I've seen multiple instances where the retailer just completely fabricates the "original" item price and then marks it down from there.
