The Road is at the Salem Cinema Sat. Jan 16th, Sun. Jan 17th, Mon. Jan 18th at 3:00 shows only. I am going to see it today.

Probably one of the more realistic takes on post attack movies. Makes you think.

I saw the movie: It's kind of a bummer film...where everyone just wallows in this hopeless despair, rather then sacking up and dealing with it.

I read it while flying to Las Vegas.
I liked the ending, but I wish it would have ended dark.
The real world and its people are tying to survive by any means necessary. There are some scenes in the book that would definitely MAKE the movie. 4 that really made me think.

Only bad thing, a lot of build up and then, nothing.. then would come more build up, and again.. nothing..

Read the book, want to see the movie now. In the book the ending was a lil weird for me almost like he just rushed the ending real quick.

One question what was the big event that made the world like that? I might of missed it when reading the book.

never said for sure what it was. I would assume nuclear tho. I found it streaming online when i watched it a while back , i just googled it.
