How cool! I did not know how the Puckle Gun worked
I need one for our collection ... I suppose all it takes is money....
But how to shoot square bullets against Muslims? Will it work as opposed to the round bullets for Christians? Enquring minds want to know. An interesting concept though.

Very cool.........I am related to the Montigue’s. My 9th great grandfather was the viscount of Montigue. He came to the new world in the 1650’s when his property was confiscated by the parliamentarians after the British Civil war. Others stayed in England. They are from the royal family the Plantagenet’s that took over England in 1066. Great gun that reconfirms my knowledge that humans have always been very clever. Predates Sam Colt’s revolver design by over 100 years.
Pretty neat! I like the square bullet option.
Cleverest of the monkeys.... or is it apes?
Kinda reminds me of that hand held gas cartridge launcher in the movie Dogs of War with Christopher Walken.
Weren’t there some revolving shotguns that looked like that too?
Tac and Andy. This is for you guys.....lol
It's real easy to look at the Puckle Gun and think you turn the crank and the gun fires repeatedly, but it's more like a gigantic revolving shotgun - a well designed piece of kit, actually. As an early CIWS it looks like what I would want to have at that time. Looks like it worked well, but just didn't catch on.
