Been up since 0130hrs. Got a bit hungry around 0615hrs. Ok, I'm a bit odd but, steak sandwiches sounded like the cure for the HONGRIES!

Good Morning NWFA! :D

Happy Friday, another beautiful September morning, a crisp morning with dappled sunshine and a gentle breeze. Enjoying the morning with an iced Earl Grey and a short Italian, a nickeled Beretta 84 FS.

Enjoy the weekend!

Another beautiful late summers morn, several locations throughout Oregon celebrating Oktoberfest this weekend. Get out and enjoy this exquisite weather we're having.

Relaxing after walking the dog. The obligatory iced Earl Grey and a stainless and rosewood Kimber Micro 9 for good measure.

Cool little kimber! I've been contemplating getting 1 (and one only) 45acp gun because I have none. Kimber 1911 full size stainless looks attractive and good price. But I'm leery of reports of malfunctions. Is the malfunction issue just a 1911 thing irregardless of brand (ignoring ultra high end stuff)? I'm ignorant of 1911s.

So this is a micro pocket 9, I've had no issues with.

As for 1911's in general, I'd highly recommend wherever you land on that to be sure to polish out the feedramp. A felt tip and a little Mother's polish work wonders for functioning. You're not trying to remove material just mirror bright and slick up the surfaces.

Done this on all my 1911's and never had a functioning issue. Gotta keep those wrists locked too, 1911's don't like being "limp wristed"

Those 1911's run the gamut from a $299 Norinco back in the day to modern Dan Wesson's…

Cool Pics, Andy! :)
Thank you...
Those are from Van Zandt Dike....It's by a little town called Acme.
The twin mountain peaks are called the Sisters...and the lone peak is the back side of Mt. Baker.
Lots of deer , bear , cougar , elk and grouse in that spot.
It is also on 900+ acres of public land...so lots of folks out there at times.

Yeah I wanna Go Up there and do some Long Range Steel Shooting on BLM Land. I always thought the Sisters were 3 but are they only 2?
