The Perp Amrani, was following the now standard proceedure among Islamist men sweeping europe, rape a Christian Woman and kill Kafir children, who then become his slaves in the next world serving his sexual pleasure. One would imagine that this co-ordinated wave of rape and murder was triggered by the recent pronouncements across the internet by a host of Shieks and Imams, the now current Genocide against Black Africans and Egyptian Christians, all but ignored by MSM. This trend will spread.

LIEGE, Belgium – A lone attacker armed with grenades and guns assaulted a busy bus stop in Liege, a city in eastern Belgium, Tuesday killing four and injuring 75, according to various news reports from the country.

News reports said the attack began at about 12:30 p.m. when the man lobbed several grenades at the bus shelter in Place Saint-Lambert, a busy downtown square. The reports said witnesses reported four explosions and gun fire.

Belgian officials identified the attacker as Norodine Amrani, 33, a Liege resident who they said had done jail time for offenses involving guns, drugs and sexual abuse. He was among the dead, but Liege Prosecutor Danielle Reynders told reporters it was unclear if he committed suicide or died by accident. He did not die at the hands of police, she said.

The attack left blood splattered across the cobblestones of the central area of Liege city, which was crowded with people doing Christmas shopping in nearby markets.

Footage from the scene showed people, including a large group of children, fleeing down the streets of the city center -- some still carrying shopping bags. Ambulances and police vehicles descended on the area.

The dead also included two teenage boys, 15 and 17, and a 75-year-old woman, she said. The La Libre newspaper reported that a 2-year-old girl was clinging to life.

It was not immediately clear what motivated the attack, but Interior Ministry official Peter Mertens said it did not involve terrorism.

Reynders said Amrani had been summoned for police questioning on Tuesday but the reason for the questioning was not clear.

Officials said Amrani left his home in Liege with a backpack, armed with hand grenades, a revolver and an FAL assault rifle

News reports said police helicopters were flying over the city and a medical post has been set up in the courtyard of the palace of the Prince Bishops court house located on the site.

VRT Radio spoke with Herve Taveirne from the courthouse into which he had fled to escape the gunfire.

"We were in the courthouse building and were just leaving when we saw someone toss a grenade," Taveirne said. "I grabbed a little boy ... and took him back into the courthouse.

Outside the building I heard shooting ... Our lives were in danger. This man was shooting in any direction. We ran for our lives at that point."

Place Saint-Lambert is a busy crossroads. Every day 1,800 buses serve the square, which leads to downtown shopping streets. The Place Saint-Lambert and the nearby Place du Marche host the Liege's annual Christmas market which consists of 200 retail cabins and attracts some 1.5 million visitors a year

Obama Administration – Fort Hood shootings ‘Workplace Violence' » Right Pundits

The Obama administration and some Pentagon officials came under fire during Congressional hearings this week over the Fort Hood shooting in 2009 and it being a case of ′workplace violence′ rather than domestic terrorism. A report released by the House Homeland Security Committee on Wednesday by Rep. Peter King (R-NY), shows a marked increase in efforts by radical Muslims to infiltrate and attack U.S. military personnel and bases. Most shocking, however, is that the Fort Hood assailant, Major Nidal Malik Hasan, despite dozens of emails exchanged with radical cleric Anwar Al-Awalaki, is not being considered as an act of Islamic terrorism. While Hasan killed 13 people and wounded 29 others, shouting ″Allah Akbar!″, his actions are being classified as workplace violence. A 24-page report from the Pentagon released Thursday on the Ft. Hood massacre never mentions radical Islam once. This drew criticism from Senators Joe Lieberman (I-CT) and Susan Collins (R-ME).

While the report does say the shooting may have been ″inspired″ by Al Qaeda, it goes on to say ″Just as we engage and raise awareness to prevent gang violence, sexual offenses, school shootings, and other acts of violence, so too must we ensure that our communities are empowered to recognize threates of violent extremism and understand the range of government and nongovernment resources that can help keep their families, friends and neighbors safe.″

In other words, all crime is bad and there is no distinction between Hasan′s actions and those of a common mugger. Such is the politically correct world of the Barack Obama administration, which early on decided to reclassify the War on Terror as an ′Overseas Contingency Operation.′ Or acts of terrorism as ′Man-Made Disasters.′

Granted, many observers will point out that Obama has followed through on Bush policies concerning terrorism and targeting Al Qaeda worldwide. Most Americans believe he is doing a good job of killing Muslims angry with us, be they Somali teenagers or Usama bin Laden. Obama′s poll numbers on fighting terrorism are about the only specific job category which scores well above 50% in approval.

But to classify the Fort Hood shootings as workplace violence is just ridiculous. Not only does it demean the deaths of suffering of the victims, but once again shows America as a weak nation, pussy-footing and tip-toeing around the uncomfortable reality that radical Islamic terrorism does exist and may becoming more dangerous. The new report released by Rep. When someone attacks civilians to terrorize the population they are a terrorist. If a terrorist yells Allah u Akbar or cites Islam for his actions then he's a Jihadi no matter if he's part of a group or acting on his own. We need to be honest about this if we are going to protect ourselves.

Al Qaeda is going in the direction of more numerous smaller attacks now (malls, schools etc.) rather than the big events like 9-11.

Belgium: Grenade attack outside courthouse linked to sentence in honor killing case
Not many details as of yet, but the Telegraph notes a link to an honor killing case that could indicate that this was yet another act of violence by Misunderstanders of the Religion of Peace. "Belgium grenade attack leaves at least two dead," from the Telegraph, December 13 (thanks to Mick):

At least one person was killed and up to 47 others wounded Tuesday when up to four grenades exploded outside the main courthouse in the eastern Belgian city of Liege.
The attack took place around noon on Saint-Lambert square, home to the town's courthouse and located near a busy Christmas market, Belga news agency said.

A two-year-old child is reportedly fighting for life in hospital. Six other victims are said to be gravely injured.

One of two or more assailants threw stun grenades into the courthouse while another was hurled at a bus shelter, RTL-TV1 said.

Shots were fired across the square by gunmen posted on the rooftop of a bakery shop, with further shots heard later from across town.

Police cordoned off the square and gave chase to the assailants, one of whom was reportedly killed. The gunmen are thought to be hiding in Liege cathedral.

The Karachi Post in Pakistan claimed that the attack was linked to a sentence in an honour killing case. It said the parents of Sadia Sheikh were sentenced on Monday when there had been a bomb alert in the court.

Gaspard Grosjean, a journalist for La Meuse Liege on the scene, told The Daily Telegraph there was panic and confusion on the streets of Liege.

"There is at least one dead and the attacker. Police are looking for another shooter. There are lots of ambulances and many casualties - at least 10 people.

"At the moment you can't move in the city centre. People are crying and in shock - they do not know what is going on. Everyone has been told to stay inside and are hiding in shops."...


UPDATE: One of the attackers was named Nordine Amrani. (Thanks to Robert for the link.) This is a Muslim name. Nordine = nur deen, light of the religion, and Amrani is related to Imran, the father of Moses according to the Qur'an (cf. sura 3, "The Family of Imran," ahl-e-Imran).

Body of woman found:
The woman worked as a cleaner for a an unnamed neighbour of Amrani, who is said in the morning asked her into his home on the pretext of offering her work and then attacked her.

It has also been confirmed that Amrani committed suicide after the attacks by shooting himself in the head with his revolver.

[In 2008 Amrani was sentenced to 58 months in prison for illegal possession of ten firearms, 9,500 "gun parts" and 2,800 cannabis plants but was granted parole last year. He also had convictions for pimping and trafficking stolen goods]

"A search last night revealed in a warehouse used by the attacker, notably to grow cannabis, the body of a woman killed by the attacker before he went to the Place Saint Lambert," said Prosecutor Cedric Visart de Bocarme.

Before carrying out the attack, Nordine Amrani then transferred cash to his wife's account with the words "I love you my love. Good luck." His wife is a woman called Perrin Balon, who is believed to be a care worker in Liege and who paid the bills on the warehouse where the body was found.

Police searched the warehouse, discovering a store of heavy weaponry. The incident has led to a heated a debate in the country about gun laws
